Hello, and welcome to my personal web page. Sadly, it has been put on the back burner for a while, as I am currently in the middle of several other projects of considerably higher priority. With time, I hope to add interesting files, articles, pictures and links for your perusal.

In brief, until recently I was a medical student at Tulane University School of Medicine, in New Orleans, Louisiana. After Hurricane Katrina, I transferred to Oregon Health & Science University in my hometown of Portland, Oregon for the remainder of my medical education. Now I'm about to graduate from med school, and I'm in the process of applying for residency positions in Neurosurgery.

Before I started medical school, I spent a year and a half as an Emergency Room Technician at Emanuel Hospital in Portland, Oregon. Before that, I worked as a Spanish Medical Interpreter in hospitals and clinics around Portland. For a more detailed account of who I am and what I've done, check out the Biography section of this page.

Before I came back to Portland, I spent three years travelling the globe, cycling over 6000 miles across Europe, teaching scuba diving in Egypt and teaching English in China. If you'd like to read about those exploits, check out my old web page in its new location, http://www.elevatedloc.com/cfool/. There you'll find my travel journal, numerous photos, and (hopefully) helpful advice for would-be travellers.
